Salesia became a Florida registered pharmacist as a graduate of Florida A&M University’s College of Pharmacy in 1989, then a lawyer as a graduate of Florida State University’s College of Law in 1992. Salesia is proudly a second generation lawyer who opened her law practice in 1993 which bears her name with offices in West Palm Beach and Belle Glade, Florida.  

Holding bar memberships in Florida’s state and federal district courts (Northern, Middle and Southern) district courts, Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court, Salesia has handled an array of cases. Her boutique civil law practice concentrates its advocacy for justice in the areas of medication error, personal injury and wrongful death on behalf of those who have suffered through the wrongdoing of others.  Her education and professional experiences as a pharmacist is an asset in understanding the complex medical issues suffered by her clients. For over 20 years as a lawyer, she has zealously represented clients with competence and integrity with professional courtesy and civility.  She has won multimillion dollar awards for clients through verdict and settlement. She frequently lectures at bar seminars and serves as a mentor. Twice the firm has been awarded the Christian Business of the Year Award and recognized as a community leader.

Salesia delicately balances her time between family, work, and civil responsibility along with her most recent quasi-judicial appointment, by the joint bar associations, as a Palm Beach County Commissioner of Ethics and is the first African American female to serve. Activities also include President – F. Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Assoc. (2012-2013), Chair – The Florida Bar Grievance Committee – 15th Judicial Cir Div. D (2010-2011), Palm Beach Co. Bar Assoc., Palm Beach Co. Justice Assoc., Life Member – National Bar Assoc., Florida Pharmacy Assoc. In civic memberships include Parliamentarian: Constitution & Bylaws Committee Chair (The Links, Inc. – WPB Chapter), Board of Directors – Street Beat, Inc. (2009-present), Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., League of Women Voters of Florida and the Urban League of Palm Beach County.  Salesia has honors including “25 Most Prominent & Influential Black Women in 2007” by Success South Florida magazine, named “25 of the most powerful & influential black business leaders of 2012” by Legacy Palm Beach and 2014 ICABA finalist as Most Accomplished Black in South Florida in law.  She is married to Lawrence Gordon, Councilman Town of Haverhill.
